Buzz Marketing Hits the Greens at the 41st Kelowna Chamber Golf Classic

This year, Buzz Marketing was proud to take part in the Kelowna Chamber Golf Classic, which returned for its 41st year at the beautiful Okanagan Golf Club. The annual tournament has become one of the Chamber’s most anticipated networking and sponsorship events, bringing local businesses together for a full day on the greens. For the Buzz team, the day was all about community, connection, and having some fun outside, away from screens.

Buzz at Hole #2

Buzz Marketing sponsored hole #2, where Paul, Sierra, and Katie held things down at our booth for the day. Instead of just handing out business cards, we wanted to create an interaction that people would actually enjoy stopping for.

So, naturally, we brought cornhole. And prizes, and gave out energy drinks to help players keep their buzz going… (see what we did there?)

Players stopped by throughout the day to take their shot, win prizes, chat with the team, and take a quick break before heading to the next hole.  We also ran a giveaway for two tickets to the Touchdown Kelowna Calgary game. To enter, golfers had to guess how many golf balls were in the jar at our booth. The magic number was 132, and the winner was Kyle Musiyowski, who guessed correctly and took home the tickets.

Buzz on the Course

While Paul, Sierra, and Katie were busy running the booth, Jordan and Niko were out representing Buzz on the course, and they did more than just show up.

The lads ended up winning third place on the Bear course. We are not saying Buzz is switching from marketing to professional golf anytime soon, but we will absolutely be mentioning that third-place finish when it suits us.

For now, we will call it a strong team performance, a good day outside, and a reminder that a little competitive energy never hurts.

Supporting the Kelowna Business Community

One of the best parts of events like the Kelowna Chamber Golf Classic is seeing how many local businesses show up to support, sponsor, participate, and connect. Kelowna has a strong business community, and events like this help keep that momentum going. We love supporting local, and have another charity golf course or two lined up for the season.

Thank you to the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce for hosting another great Golf Classic. A big thank you as well to the sponsors, players, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by the Buzz booth on hole #2.

And of course, congratulations again to Kyle Musiyowski for winning the Touchdown Kelowna tickets, and to Jordan and Niko for bringing home third place on the Bear course.

We had a great time connecting with the Kelowna business community and being part of such a well-loved local event. Until next time, we will be practicing our cornhole tosses and working on our golf swings to take home the #1 spot next time.
