January 13, 2025Horton Electric started off as an SEO client but soon signed on for a website overhaul. The page updates and content rewrites have resulted in huge jumps in page rankings.
The Journey
The Background
Horton Electric came to us with an outdated site featuring minimal copy, making it tough to compete for SEO. They had a couple of very technical blogs, and we identified that they needed a lot more SEO-friendly copy and information about their services to actually acquire clients.
The Challenge
As part of the new website build, we updated the branding and website aesthetics to look more modern. We rewrote all the copy and reworked the site structure to try to rank for the services the owner, Nathan, wanted to prioritize, as well as continuing to work on blogs.
Our Solution
We created the blog strategy to focus on Horton's unique service offerings and helpful advice, and it's helped us see some excellent SEO results. We also have started running Local Service Ads to continue to drive business growth and new customers.

Local Service Ads(LSA)
In 2024, the Google LSA's we ran achieved over 30,000 impressions with a total of 211 leads. This kind of targeted ad acquisition helps bring in better quality leads at a lower cost.
Visibility
Due to all of our SEO efforts, Visibility for keyword searches went from 5.26% to 28.66%. Impressions on Google from their first month working with us to the time of this case study have quadrupled.
Page Rankings
Horton has also had some meaningful improvement in page rankings, with rankings in the top 10 on the search engine results page increasing from 3 to 10. This greatly helps with visibility and organic traffic.
