A longtime partner of Buzz, Legacy Garage Doors is a garage door and gate installation and repair company serving the Okanagan. They felt it was time for a website refresh, as we had initially built their site in 2016. We worked with them to update both structure and appearance for a fully modern look.
The Journey
The Background
Legacy Garage Doors & Gates first worked with Buzz in 2016 to revamp their initial site. While we made a number of major improvements at the time, a lot has changed since then and when they decided it was time for another refresh, we were more than happy to assist.
The Challenge
Their old site had an impressive SEO base, as we had created pages for a number of products they carry, but their catalogue had changed over time, making some of these products irrelevant. Legacy also introduced a new service, gate installation and repairs, that they wanted highlighted.
Our Solution
As we updated the site, we ensured that their SEO was not impacted while cleaning up the site navigation and structure to represent their current offerings. A new "Gates" page was created to give these services their own landing page and SEO opportunities. We updated their Google ads to ensure that all these services were being promoted to their highest potential.

500% Increase in Organic Traffic
When we had built the original Legacy website, they weren't ranking on the first page of Google, making them hard to find for new customers. Through ongoing SEO work together, they have 20 1st page rankings, including six 1st position keyword rankings. Their organic traffic has increased by an impressive 500%.

Since we started running Google Ads for Legacy in 2017, these ads have brought in over 450 phone calls. These phone calls have lead to a number of substantial projects for Legacy, including custom design work, that have contibuted to their impressive growth over time.
375+ Catalogue Downloads
Legacy provided us with the opportunity to set up trackable conversions via a downloadable catalogue of their different products. This allows our team to track general interest, while providing their clients a chance to dream up their new gargage door or gate with a catalogue of possibilities. This has proven successful with over 375 downloads.
