Skaha Hills is a luxury condo and home development located near Penticton on the beautiful Skaha Bench. They came to us looking for a website, graphic design support, and SEO to help drive sales in the competitive Okanagan real estate market.
The Journey
The Background
Skaha Hills was in the early stages of development when they came to Buzz looking to set up a website to drive sales. With so many developments and enticing real estate properties in the area, it was important to them to have a comprehensive website strategy, including SEO to ensure that they were standing out from the competition.
The Challenge
As this is a development, it's meant lots of changes as the property moves through the different construction phases. This means continual website updates, and new graphic design for floor plans, feature sheets and logos. This has required an integrative, detailed approach that accommodates the many moving parts of the site and the property itself.
Our Solution
Many members of the Buzz team have touched this project, from photographers to web developers and designers. We've worked together to get all these pieces completed so that Skaha Hills can be shown off as the incredible feat of design and natural beauty that it is. By blending multiple strong marketing elements together, the true value of the development shines.

Continually Evolving Website
As the development has progressed, we've been able to change the site structure multiple times while preserving the SEO integrity of the pages to reflect the current phase of sales and construction. This includes moving from a single family home only phase to adding on rancher style condos and completed homes for sale.
SEO Support
In order to rank for the highly competitice real estate keywords, a strong SEO plan has been put in place. This has included beefing up the copy on every page by adding helpful FAQs and descriptions. It has also included monthly blog posts to help hit new keywords, while also providing value to potential buyers in describing the area.
Photography
One of the most effective real estate sales tools is accurate, well shot photography. Showcasing the beauty of the property, community amentiies and surrounding area is critical in helping clients see themselves at Skaha Hills. We supplied a full folder of photos to use in collateral and on the site.
